Terms of Use
These terms govern use of praevensecurity.com, operated by Praeven Security LLC, a Washington limited liability company. Using the site means accepting them.
Effective July 31, 2026 · Last updated July 31, 2026
1. What this site is
The site describes services Praeven offers and publishes educational writing on security topics. It is informational.
Nothing on this site is legal advice, a compliance certification, incident response, an audit, or an assessment. Reading it, submitting a form, or corresponding with Praeven does not create a client relationship, a consulting relationship, or any duty on Praeven's part. Work is undertaken only under a signed written agreement.
2. Framework and compliance references
The site's educational content may reference regulatory or industry security frameworks. Those references are informational and describe general practice, not a representation that any organization will achieve certification, pass an assessment, or satisfy a particular control. The sufficiency of any evidence produced is determined by the customer's control environment and by the reviewer or assessor, not by Praeven.
3. Permitted use
You may read, print, and share the site's published content for your own informational or internal business use, with attribution to Praeven Security.

PrismVector is not publicly available. Nothing on this site authorizes its use, and no content here constitutes authorization to test any system.
5. Intellectual property
The text, graphics, diagrams, and course descriptions on this site, and the Praeven and PrismVector names and marks, are owned by Praeven Security LLC. Training content, module structure, assessment material, and PrismVector itself are proprietary. You may not copy, adapt, redistribute, or create derivative works from them for commercial purposes without written permission.
Third-party names, standards, and frameworks referenced on the site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.
6. What you send us
Do not send confidential or proprietary information through the site's forms before a confidentiality agreement is in place. Information submitted through a form is handled under the Privacy Policy, but submitting it does not create a confidentiality obligation beyond what that notice describes.
If you send suggestions, feedback, or ideas about the site or Praeven's services, Praeven may use them without restriction or compensation.
7. No warranty
The site is provided as is. Praeven makes no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, and disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Content may become outdated. Frameworks, threats, and regulations change.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Praeven Security LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from use of this site. Total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to one hundred United States dollars.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
